This retelling of the epic of Gilgamesh follows a phony yet successful TV psychic MICAH GABEL, who agrees to participate in a documentary looking for Bigfoot directed by his former boss and mentor, EDNA KIDD, against the advice of Micah’s semi-secret boyfriend, DANIEL. But Micah has an ulterior motive; years earlier, Edna refused to sign off on Micah’s televised search for the ghost of a little girl suspected of being murdered in the Nantahala forest––the very forest where the documentary will film.

But Micah’s plans to sabotage production are interrupted by their guide, the obsessed and dangerous Sasquatch hunter HUMBERT, who believes Bigfoot to be a Celtic demon. A struggle that leaves both Edna and Humbert dead sets Micah on a quest to recover Edna’s body and save JOSH, the naive cameraman with whom Micah has begun an affair. But nature is possessive of its dead, and the spirits of the forest are reluctant to let Edna’s corpse––or the surviving members of the crew––escape. Micah must look deep within himself to turn his worst qualities into his greatest weapons before he can return home alive and fix his relationship with Daniel.

Logline: When a deadly virus confines a depressed, anxiety-ridden stoner and a sardonic receptionist to a clinic full of zombies––with no communication to the outside world––the unlikely team must work through their issues to find the will and means to escape and survive.

"Patient" is a dramatic examination of mental health and a prescription-dependent culture disguised as a blood-hungry horror/thriller film. Pairing appropriate comedic elements, such as those found in "It Follows," and thrilling suspense like that seen in Netflix's "Bird Box," "Patient" also examines how life-or-death situations affect the tenacity of the human spirit.

Logline:
A modern-day fairy tale comes to life when a curse causes a young millionaire to lose everything he loves and teaches him that reclaiming his birthright and wooing 'Prince Charming' are not nearly as easy as the storybooks let on.

“Ken & Bobby” embraces the tradition of humor and charm found in the recent gay rom-com successes “Red, White, and Royal Blue,” “Heartstopper,” and “Love, Simon,” in a story of proverbial royalty, queens, fairies, and a riches-to-rags prince who chases his dreams and a storybook romance. A previous draft of "Ken & Bobby" received favorable coverage from the International Screenwriters' Association (including a 4 out of 5 stars rating) and the Colorado Film Commission.
